2025 – Ongoing Upgrade and construction of approximately 3.50 km of urban roads to asphalt standard, including drainage improvements, pedestrian walkways, road markings, and safety features. Importance: Enhances traffic flow in Kampala’s CBD and reduces congestion.
Aims: Improve road safety, support business activity, and provide durable urban road infrastructure.

Construction of Selected Roads in Mukono Municipality – LOT 3
(Nasuuti–Nakabago–Ntawo, Bajjo–Seeta, Serado & Kigunga Links)
2025 – Ongoing Construction and upgrading of 9.72 km of roads including asphalt surfacing, drainage systems, shoulders, and road safety installations. Importance: Improves urban connectivity and access to residential and commercial areas.
Aims: Reduce travel time, improve road safety, and promote local economic growth.

Overlay of Kireka–Namugongo Road (8 km) 2023 – Ongoing Milling of the existing asphalt surface, localized pavement repairs, application of new asphalt concrete overlay, shoulder works, drainage rehabilitation, road markings, and traffic signage. Importance: Restores pavement condition on a key commuter route.
Aims: Improve driving comfort, enhance safety, and extend the service life of the road.

Kampala Northern Bypass – Phase 1 (21 km) 2023 – Ongoing Routine and periodic maintenance works including pavement repairs, asphalt resurfacing, drainage maintenance, road markings, and safety improvements. Importance: Preserves a strategic national bypass route.
Aims: Reduce vehicle operating costs, improve safety, and maintain uninterrupted traffic flow.

Reconstruction of Mwanga II Road & Kisenyi Lane 2022 – 2023 Full reconstruction of urban roads including pavement layers, drainage improvements, and surface finishing. Importance: Upgrades deteriorated inner-city roads.
Aims: Improve accessibility, sanitation, and traffic safety.

Kamuli Municipal Roads Upgrade 2021 – 2024 Upgrading of gravel roads to asphalt standard with drainage and safety works. Importance: Improves municipal mobility and durability.
Aims: Reduce maintenance costs and enhance urban transport.

Lugazi Municipal Roads Upgrade 2021 – 2024 Construction of asphalt roads, drainage systems, and road safety features. Importance: Supports urban expansion and traffic safety.

Recycling & Overlay of Lukuli Road (LOT 3) 2020 – 2023 Cold recycling of existing pavement layers, strengthening of the road base, application of a new asphalt concrete overlay, junction signalization, drainage improvements, and installation of road safety features. Importance: Restored structural integrity of a busy urban road and improved traffic efficiency at major junctions.
Aims: Extend pavement life, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance road safety.

Rehabilitation of Busoga Road & Eng. Zikusooka Way 2020 Localized pavement patching, construction of speed humps, drainage improvements, and asphalt resurfacing to restore road condition. Importance: Improved functionality of key municipal roads serving residential and commercial areas.
Aims: Enhance safety, improve ride quality, and prevent water-related pavement damage.

Reconstruction of Old Taxi Park 2020 – 2021 Complete pavement reconstruction including excavation of failed layers, construction of new pavement structure, asphalt surfacing, drainage works, and traffic circulation improvements. Importance: Modernized one of Kampala’s busiest public transport hubs.
Aims: Improve traffic organization, commuter safety, and infrastructure durability.

Bukasa Port Development Project 2020 – 2021 Construction of access roads and installation of security fencing to support port development and logistics operations. Importance: Supported development of a strategic inland port.
Aims: Improve accessibility, enhance security, and facilitate efficient port operations.

NMT Pilot Corridor – Central Division 2016 – 2020 Development of pedestrian walkways, cycling lanes, crossings, signage, and safety features within existing urban corridors. Importance: Promoted safe and sustainable urban mobility.
Aims: Encourage walking and cycling, reduce accidents, and improve accessibility for vulnerable road users.

Iganga–Kaliro Road (32 km) 2015 – 2017 Rehabilitation works including pavement repairs, strengthening of base layers, surface dressing, drainage improvements, and road safety installations. Importance: Improved regional connectivity between districts.
Aims: Reduce travel time, improve durability, and support regional economic growth.

Mukono–Jinja Road (53 km) 2015 – 2016 Milling of existing pavement, asphalt overlay, localized reconstruction of failed sections, and safety improvements. Importance: Upgraded a major national transport corridor.
Aims: Improve traffic capacity, safety, and riding comfort.

Namanve Industrial Park Access Roads 2013 – 2016 Construction of access roads and drainage systems to support industrial traffic and logistics operations. Importance: Enabled efficient movement within the industrial park.

Strengthening Kampala–Entebbe Road 2000 – 2001 Strengthening of pavement layers through construction of stone base and asphalt wearing course to improve load capacity. Importance: Enhanced a vital link to Entebbe International Airport.
