  • Client: Ministry of works and Transport

  • Scope: The scope of works included pavement repairs, milling and replacement of distressed asphalt layers, sealing of cracks, pothole patching, and improvement of road shoulders to enhance durability and ride quality. Drainage systems were inspected, cleaned, and repaired to ensure effective stormwater management and prevent pavement deterioration. Road furniture such as guardrails, road markings, signage, and safety features were also rehabilitated to improve traffic safety and visibility.

The project was executed while maintaining traffic flow, requiring careful planning, traffic management, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Upon completion, the maintenance works significantly improved road performance, reduced vehicle operating costs, enhanced safety for road users, and extended the service life of the bypass infrastructure.

Construction of Selected Roads in Mukono Municipality – LOT 3 (9.72 km) (Nasuuti–Nakabago–Ntawo, Bajjo–Seeta, Serado Link, Kigunga Link Roads)

  • Client: Mukono Municipal Council

  • Scope:The scope of works included site clearance, earthworks, formation preparation, and construction of pavement layers up to asphalt concrete surfacing to provide durable, all-weather roads. Comprehensive drainage systems comprising side drains, culverts, and cross-drainage structures were constructed to ensure effective stormwater management and protect the pavement structure. Road safety elements such as road markings, signage, pedestrian walkways, and traffic calming measures were incorporated to enhance safety for all road users.

  • Location: Mukono

The project was implemented with careful traffic management to minimize disruption to the local community while ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards. Upon completion, the roads significantly improved transport efficiency, reduced travel time and vehicle operating costs, enhanced road safety, and supported socio-economic development within Mukono Municipality.

  • Scope: The scope of works included demolition and removal of failed pavement sections, earthworks, and construction of a durable pavement structure finished with asphalt concrete surfacing suitable for high urban traffic volumes. The project also involved the construction and improvement of drainage systems, including lined side drains, culverts, and cross-drainage structures to effectively manage stormwater and prevent flooding.

  • Location: Kampala

To enhance road safety and accessibility, the works incorporated pedestrian walkways, road markings, traffic signage, junction improvements, and traffic calming measures. Utility adjustments and coordination with service providers were carried out to minimize service disruptions during construction. The project was executed under strict environmental, health, and safety standards while maintaining traffic flow through effective traffic management. Upon completion, the upgraded roads significantly improved traffic flow, reduced travel time, enhanced road safety, and contributed to the overall urban development of Kampala.

  • Scope: The scope of works included removal of the existing failed pavement, earthworks, and construction of a new road pavement structure finished with asphalt concrete surfacing designed to withstand urban traffic loads. Comprehensive drainage improvements were implemented, including construction of lined side drains and cross culverts to enhance stormwater management and reduce flooding during heavy rains.

Pedestrian facilities such as walkways were incorporated to improve safety and accessibility for non-motorized road users. Road furniture including traffic signage, road markings, and traffic calming measures were installed to enhance traffic control and safety. Utility coordination and service relocations were carried out where necessary to ensure uninterrupted public services during construction.
